CLIENT: Gillette Nature Association, Muskegon, MI and Michigan Department of Natural Resources
DETAILS: Mural for one entire wall of the E. Genevieve Gillette Visitor Center’s children’s area. Measuring approximately 8′ x 24′, this wall graphic depicts the Lake Michigan shore, dune and forest habitats which occur at P.J. Hoffmaster State Park (where the visitor center is located) and includes more than 25 plant and animal species which are typical and unique to these habitats. I painted the mural in my studio at reduced size on paper with watercolor and colored pencils. A digital file was made from the original art, then printed onto an adhesive-backed material and applied to the wall.
